About this event
In this workshop, students will:
- Receive an introduction to some regionally common plant species useful for weaving baskets
- Explore the landscape to select and harvest their own skeleton material
- Receive instruction in 2 beginner basket styles, and
- Use pre-harvested wisteria, or harvest additional material, with which to weave their own basket
Children are welcome to attend and participate with a responsible adult. Please purchase a ticket for each basket you/ your family will create.
Please bring a sharp knife if you have one you're comfortable using.
Pricing for this event is on a sliding scale basis. Email greenfarmacygarden@gmail.com by 6pm Saturday, June 2 to participate at a different rate than the default!
