Event is ON! Please make your own decisions and be safe. Water levels are high, so please be careful getting in and out of water. See you soon!
Make your grand entrance to the Marquette Waterfront Festival by floating with hundreds of other fools from Tenney Park to Yahara Place Park.  The more foolish the better! Bring your own boat, PFDs, costumes and decorations. This is a free event.
<H2>NEW THIS YEAR: Registration required. Day of Registration Available beginning at 9:30am. Parade begins at 10:30am.</H2>
To help us all have a safe experience on the water, we are adding online pre-registration that includes a standard safety waiver. Participation is at your own risk. River Alliance strongly recommends that you wear a personal flotation device. 
Anyone who registers in advance will be entered to win a cool prize (to be announced soon). 
Please complete one registration per boat that will participate. 
Online registration closes at noon on Friday, June 8th. You can also register in person at the event at 9:30am. 
 Schedule:
9:30-10:30am: Check in and set up 10:30am: Parade begins 11:30am: See the Fools’ Flotilla band, The River Rats, perform on stage at the Marquette Waterfront Festival.
Always assess the safety of a particular waterbody before entering and use caution.
Participation is at your own risk. River Alliance strongly recommends that you wear a personal flotation device.
 
Parking: – Parking spots along Thornton Ave will be reserved for unloading only. Please stop to drop off your boat and then move your car to a designated parking spot. – You may also drop your boat off and put in at the City of Madison boat launch on the east side of the river, across from Tenney Park (near the pontoon boats). In order to park your car in this lot you must have a City of Madison boat launch sticker and a boat trailer on your car. – Parking will be available in the Care Wisconsin parking lot (1617 Sherman Ave). Please be respectful of this donated space. – Parking is not allowed in the Tenney Park Pavilion parking lot.
