About this event

Develop the culinary and business strategies to start a food truck

business in Maryland. Learn the pros and cons of operating a

food truck business, menu planning and food cost management,

marketing and branding, HACCP plan basics and licensing, and

permitting needs. You may become ServSafe® Manager certified

with successful completion of the in-class exam.

Program Course Sequence (In-person courses)

  • SBA 036 – Starting Your Own Food Truck Business
  • SBA 037 – Controlling Costs for Food Truck Operators
  • SBA 808 – How to Start and Manage Your Own Small Business
  • HSL 016* – ServSafe Manager Certification

Total cost for all four courses: $676

*Financial aid may be available.*
