You are warmly invited to a community conversation on Tuesday, May 25th from 1:30 - 3.30 pm to bring people together doing good food work in Campbell River and the Strathcona region to connect, deepen relationships, share your work, challenges and possibilities.

Together we can name and begin to address food security gaps in our community.

Who Are We?

We are a group from the Strathcona Food Security Table that includes representatives from Volunteer Campbell River, Greenways Land Trust, the Strathcona Community Health Network, Island Health, and the Salvation Army.

Over the last several months, we have been meeting to discuss food security gaps, the development of a food hub, funding possibilities and a permanent location for the Hama?Elas Community Kitchen.
