Food Box Packing For Seniors In Need
Join us in packing nutritious food boxes for seniors in need! No cooking required!
Through our 'My Groceries to Go' food program, we provide over 1,700 boxes of nutritious food each month to low-income seniors in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. The food provided helps supplement their diet with proper nutrition, as well as ensuring they have enough food to eat by the end of the month if their funds are exhausted. Without the incredible effort from our volunteers, this wouldn't be possible. There is no cooking involved!
Location: 400 East 29th Street, Baltimore, MD 21218
Parking: The entrance to our warehouse is on your 1st right as soon as you get onto 29th St; you will see a McDonald's directly across from our gate. Signs will instruct all cars to be parked to the left side of the cones.
Overflow parking is located along Barclay St and the Waverly Shopping Center parking lot.
There is also a bus stop directly outside the warehouse for those using public transportation.
If you have any difficulty finding our location, please call Pinny Margolius at 443-221-3465.
Clothing: Must wear close-toed shoes. Activewear is recommended.
Due to this event being held at an active warehouse, any attending child must be 12+ in order to ensure a safe environment.
