Spend a food-as-medicine inspired evening at Eden East an urban farm and restaurant in the heart of Austin. Listen to Ali Miller, functional medicine practitioner and author of The Anti-Anxiety Diet and Naturally Nourished, as she navigates you through root causes of imbalance in the body and how foods can heal. Learn about the microbiome, leaky gut and food intolerance, stress and adrenal fatigue, and the importance of detoxification and abundance of antioxidants. Explore curated interactive stations featuring fermentation, a bone brothery, harvest your own salad and learn how to balance real food flavors, and make your own health tonic at the apothecary.
