Welcome to Deadlands!
My name is Jody, and I’d like to invite you to one of my favourite tabletop roleplaying game titles. What are some keywords that might get you interested? How about Lovecraftian Horror, Westerns, Mad Science, Alternate History, Supernatural Hex-slinging, and Cryptids? Deadlands has all that. This game is designed for 4-5 new and/or experienced table top players who fit comfortably in the PG-13+ range. I’ll have some pregenerated characters for you to choose from, and a little blurb to hopefully give you some motivation for the adventure.
What do you need to bring? Not much, maybe a pencil and some scratch paper and some favourite sets (yes multiple) of your bestest polyhedral dice. (I’ll have lots to loan if need be) I’ll supply all the character sheets, decks of cards, poker chips and minis you might hopefully need out on the trail. (accents are optional ;) )
Terror From Above!
The year is 1876, and our posse is currently finding themselves in the disputed lands town of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The second big gold rush happened just a few short years ago, and people are still eager to find a plot and strike it rich, (or perhaps provide pricey services to those that do.) Between bandit raids, strange weather, missing persons, monster sightings, and perhaps even a supernatural curse among other things-- there’s plenty of trouble to get into. Will our group of Heroes get to the bottom of the mystery tying everything together and save the day, or will they plunge from the heights of hubris like Icarus?
Either way, I’m hoping it’ll be a good time :)
