Celebrate Mother’s Day in a meaningful and grounding way—with community, nature, and curiosity. Open to all (not just moms!), this guided foraging hike invites you to explore the edible and medicinal plants of Brackenridge Park. Learn how to safely and ethically identify local flora growing along the riverbanks, gain practical skills rooted in respect for the land, and deepen your relationship with the natural world.

As part of our walk, we’ll offer a chance to give back through acts of reciprocity—such as collecting trash, spreading native seeds, or introducing beneficial mycelium to help strengthen the soil and support local ecosystems.

After the hike, we’ll gather beneath the trees for a grounding meditation and a calming tea ceremony using native plants, giving space to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

Whether you’re honoring a loved one, celebrating yourself, or simply seeking a deeper connection with nature, this event welcomes everyone. Sliding scale donations ($15–$30/person) support our community offerings—and if you need a sponsored ticket, just reach out. We’d love to have you with us.

Remember how it felt to fall in love with nature? When was the last time you took the time to watch the clouds or notice the spectrum of colors on the flowers? Forest Bathing is a science backed practice originating in Japan that has made it's way to the US . Experiencing a Forest Bathing session you will find yourself relaxed and connected to nature as you are guided through meditations aimed to focus on your senses and quieting the mind. Mindfulness practices through the use of nature invitations will promote interactions with the surrounding land and ignite your creativity. I am so excited to bring this modality to San Antonio, Austin and surrounding area. Join an event and energize your connection to the beautiful surrounding parks.
