Is this event only for students? Who can participate?

Yes, this event exclusively caters to students currently enrolled in recognized universities or colleges that are interested or experienced in UI/UX design.

Can we choose our own groups?

Yes, participants can choose their own groups. You must register as a pair or a group of 4. If you register as a pair, you will have the opportunity to partner with another pair to form a full team.

Is this event open to complete beginners?

Accepted Answer

FLUI 2025 welcomes participants with basic design knowledge. While we encourage learning, it's important to have a foundational understanding of design principles. Skills like pitching or collaboration are also valuable, so bring your strengths and be ready to grow!

Question 4

What if I don't have a partner/have an odd number of group members?

Accepted Answer

Please send an email with your name and your student ID to info.flui2025@gmail.com. We will add you to a waitlist with other solo participants to be paired up. Once you are paired, we will connect you both via email, at which time you are free to purchase your tickets together.

Question 5

What are audience tickets?

Accepted Answer

Audience tickets allow non-participants to attend the hackathon’s opening and closing ceremonies, network with participants and attendees and embed themselves in the student design community.
