Dating back to ancient times, flower crowns have long been symbols of achievement, glory, and power. This workshop will give you our best tips and tricks for making your very own voluptuous flower crown. You'll leave this class with a crown of your own, able to show off your regal gorgeousness at festivals, parties, and events!
ALL SUPPLIES are included. After a short history-of and lesson, all guests will make their crown base, select durable silk flowers, and assemble, topping it off with festive ribbon streamers. Crowns will be fully customized to your taste and style!
Workshop is led by Bohemian House artists Blue and Rissa from Moonflower Scythe.
For guests age 14 and up. Crown assembly will include handling floral wire and a hot glue gun. Sample shown in image below. Appropriate for all gender identities.
Parking is available/free on-street or in any of the Ellicott City lots. Please give yourself ample time to park and walk to the location at Bohemian House, 8320 Main St, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
Restrooms are available on-site.
Food and drinks are not included, however, Georgia Grace is across the street with coffee, tea, and baked goods with vegetarian and gluten-free options. There are many other dining options in Ellicott City as well.
Refunds are only available until 3 days before the event. At that time, all sales are final, as supplies will be purchased and kits assembled in advance. If you cannot attend for any reason after that time, please give your ticket to a friend.
The event would only be canceled in case of severe rain or storms. Please check your email associated with your Eventbrite account. Event is indoors and will go on in rain, however should Howard County determine rain or storms may be hazards, we will follow all regulations about shutting down the event for safety. If that is the case, the event will be rescheduled when the weather permits and you will get an EMAIL at the same email address you used to sign up for the event.
