About this event

A Flow Yoga class may include standing, seated, or floor postures. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that will make them comfortable in various poses and allows for easy movement. This is a physically active class. Options and modifications for poses will be provided. Props (chairs, cushions, blocks) may be incorporated into class. Mats are provided, or participants may bring their own. This class is led by Christa Duren.

This class is for everyone. Folks of all abilities, experience levels, and ranges of motion are encouraged to participate.

Do I have to pre-register to attend?

Pre-registering for class helps your instructor best prepare. But if you're running short on time, don't let registering stop you! Drop on by!

What should I bring with me?

You do not need to bring anything with you, unless you would like bring your own personal yoga mat or other props. Because this is a more active class, you may want to bring a water bottle.

What should I do if I'm running late to class?

Please do your best to arrive to class 5 minutes early to be on time, and avoid disruption to others. However, if you are late, the door will be open. Quietly let yourself in and join us when you are ready.

Do I have to attend every class?

No, you do not have to attend every class. You can come to as many or as few as you would like.

I've never done yoga before. What should I know?

There are many forms of and approaches to yoga. Ultimately, all yoga is centered around mindfulness through the connection of breath, body, and mind. Come as you are. No particular degree of flexibility, strength, or balance is required to do yoga. This space is for you!
