SUMMARY:
This is an all levels crafting workshop. Be prepared for a hands on experience, where you will learn different methods of floral preservation and design. You can practice drying methods like garlands and book pressing. You will also be able to arrange bouquets and create your own personal floral arrangements.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE HOME:
All supplies will be provided! Available flowers will include seasonal options like Dogwoods, Salvia, Poppies, Bachelor's Buttons, Coneflowers, Roses, herbs, and more! All botanicals will be locally sourced. You are welcome to bring your own botanicals as well!
We will also provide the necessary craft supplies for garlands, bouquets, etc. If you want to practice flower pressing, you will need to bring your own book, but we will provide all other materials.
Shadow boxes are available (by preorder only) for an additional $15 fee. We will have dried flowers and craft supplies available for shadow box decorating.
AFTER CARE:
If you plan on drying a garland or bouquet at home, you will need to make sure that you have a place that is cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight. We will provide detailed instructions on drying methods in our info packet.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS:
Once you are accepted into the workshop, we will send you an invoice, and you will have three days to submit your payment of $65. We will hold your spot during this three day window. Please make sure you will be able to attend before submitting payment, as we will not be issuing refunds for cancellations UNLESS we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist. You are also welcome to send someone in your place, if you run into any last minute issues. Please let us know ASAP if you need to cancel, and we will do our best to fill your spot.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
***Ages 12 and up are welcome to attend.
***Space will be tight! Please be considerate. We will only have room for individuals accepted into the workshop. No room for extra guests.
*** Masks are optional. If you are feeling sick, please do not come to the workshop!
