Is there a cost?

No cost, free to all attendees.

How long should I plan to be there?

You can come for 15 min to browse the tables and talk to experts, or stay for 2 hours to hear the talks.  Either way is fine.  Even in a few minutes you will be able to learn what you can do.

Who are the experts?

We bring you people who work on flooding and water issues everyday.  From people who go into basements, to exterior water drainage, to insurance to legal questions.  In addition, we will have info about ways to get this work paid for.  Lastly, the talks are set up to let you hear what is happening.

Will there be places to sit down?  Is it wheelchair accessible?

What languages?

Accepted Answer

The majority of the conversations will be in English but some material maybe available in other languages.  In addition, we hope to have translations of some of the information available online after the event.

Why are we doing this?

Accepted Answer

Because more water is coming to NYC and instead of just worrying about the risk for flooding - or waiting for the city to upgrade sewers - we all need to learn what we can do to get ready.
