Korean American woman is on trial for the murder of her husband, who committed suicide on a religious retreat in the mountains. It turns out that her husband was suffering from schizophrenia, and had stopped taking his medication before the retreat. The prosecution's theory is that the wife deliberately set up the situation to bring about her husband's death.

Through social events, residency and professional development programs, grassroots organizing, and performance opportunities, we hope to empower our members and reflect the greater diversity of this city and its stories.
ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHTS PROJECT. PAPA Playwrights Project raises up the voices of emerging Asian and Asian American playwrights in our city with Lead Artist, Stephanie Kyung Sun Walters. Over the course of a 2 year residency, our playwrights hone their craft through workshops, readings, professional development opportunities, and guidance from a lead artist. PAPA Playwrights meet monthly to share drafts, work with local dramaturgs, and discuss local and national theatre. They engage with the new play development process and culminate with a reading of their work.
