You’ve been asking for it, we’ve been dying to do it, and finally, FLIGHT SCHOOL IS BACK!

Flight School is a unique opportunity to learn about the art of burlesque from members of the FLAMINGO REVUE from right here in the Queen City – and beyond! Take flight in the art of burlesque this summer in our five-week, 10-course experience specially curated to help new performers spread their wings on stage. But, of course, it will also offer plenty to experienced performers looking to develop new skills!

FLIGHT SCHOOL will take place at PETRA’S and each day will feature two hour-long classes. We’re excited to offer a competitively-priced all access pass to Flight School for only $250! Ten class – that’s only $25 per class! But for those who can’t make every day, we’re also offering classes a la carte at $30 each.

As an added bonus for this season of FLIGHT SCHOOL, we'll be doing a special class at the end of the session -- a special peer review course where members of The Flamingo Revue will offer you some valuable insights into the act you've created. This peer review course is included FREE with our full course package, but will also be available a la carte for only $40!

DECOLONIZING BURLESQUE with BELLA SIN

This class invites you to challenge the way you learned burlesque history. Most burlesque history is thought under the focus of white Americana erasing the people of color who not only existed but brought this industry forth as trailblazers. Burlesque was not just an American concept of entertainment it was a global phenomenon that included a multitude of countries and cultures. Learn burlesque history through a new lens and challenge your perception of its origins.

MUSICALITY with LOU LOU La DUCHESSE de RIÉRE

Unlock your inner musical performer to step your burlesque game up this year. Hone your skills in transitions, movement and connection; and acquire the tools necessary to bring out the WOW factor in your next act and take your choreography from step-driven and technical to organic and awe inspiring.
