She is a founding editor of Forever Magazine and teaches in the writing program at Pratt Institute. Her fiction and criticism have appeared in Interview Magazine, Nylon, Flaunt, Grand, and elsewhere. Flat Earth is her first book.Kate Folk is the author of a novel, Sky Daddy, and a short story collection, Out There. Her stories and essays have appeared in The New Yorker, the New York Times Magazine, n+1, One Story, Granta, and The Baffler, among other venues. She is the recipient of a Stegner Fellowship, along with fellowships from MacDowell, the Headlands Center for the Arts, and Willapa Bay AiR. Originally from Iowa, she lives in San Francisco.Copies of Anika's book are available for purchase with your ticket in advance or at the event.
