Flash Films are our way of getting filmmakers together and cutting to the chase, filming!
Filmmakers are put into teams, and have 10 weeks to complete their film.
Join us Sunday, August 18, 2024 · 1 - 4pm CST to read prewritten scripts of 5-10 pages, submitted by August 3rd. Scripts that are late cannot be considered.
We believe the best way to learn is to do, and this is our way of pushing for that belief. We provide guidance and support to flash film teams, but ultimately let the filmmakers learn and grow through personal experiences.
We will then vote on which screenplay(s) we will make into a film!
Don't worry about being by yourself, we will help place you in a team.
We make the teams at the actual kickoff event.
If you already have some friends, bring them along and perhaps recruit other team members.
No Experience? No Problem!
This is also a great opportunity for filmmakers who want to try out a new position or make their very first film. We will guide each team towards completion to ensure you have a complete film ready to screen.
We will not be selecting actors at this event.
