Embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of Spanish culture with our upcoming Flamenco Night. Join us for an evening filled with soul-stirring music, rhythmic footwork, and the vibrant energy of flamenco. At the center of our Flamenco Night is the extraordinary dancer, Mariana Gatto. Hailing from the Gypsy communities of Bulgaria, Mariana's love affair with flamenco began at the age of 6, when she started performing in adult venues. Over the years, her dedication and talent have earned her numerous awards, including the prestigious Grand Prix at the Vienna International Ballet Experience. Mariana has graced stages around the world, from performing alongside flamenco icon Rafael Amargo in Barcelona to joining the Gipsy Kings on their US tours. In the DC area, she has become a cherished performer at renowned establishments such as Claudia’s Steakhouse, Bodega, Bodegón, El Mercat Bar de Tapas, and Taberna del Alabardero. Don't miss the chance to witness Mariana Gatto's captivating performance, as she brings the authenticity and passion of flamenco to life on our stage. Alongside Marina, we would like to introduce guitarist Miguelito Pérez. Hailing from a family of musicians and visual artists, Miguelito earned his Bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance at California State University, Fullerton. Since joining the DC flamenco scene in 1991, he has collaborated with various dance companies and has been a regular performer at esteemed venues like Taberna del Alabardero, El Mercat Bar de Tapas, and Bodega Spanish Tapas and Lounge for over 25 years. Don't miss the chance to witness Miguelito's mastery as he infuses each note with the passion and tradition of flamenco.
