Flame Con: A Virtual Con

Geeks OUT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to rally, promote, and empower the queer geek community. We do so by organizing events, attending conventions, coordinating queer spaces at other events, launching advocacy campaigns, and producingFlame Con– the world’s largest LGBTQ comics and pop culture convention.

Geeks OUT is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a virtual Flame Con, Saturday, August 21 – Sunday, August 22.

<p>While some states are beginning to reopen and expanding public capacities, this does not change the fact that COVID-19 is still a part of our lives. Flame Con has always aimed to be an inclusive and safe space for all. We wouldn’t be living up to that commitment, if we did not carefully consider how the pandemic has impacted our community – especially the most marginalized amongst us. Our first priority is ensuring your safety and well being.</p><p>So, we look forward to seeing you online this summer!</p>
