Flagship International Symposium

Anderson University, Flagship Enterprise Center and Corporation for Economic Development will be hosting the first Flagship International Symposium on TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2017, 8AM UNTIL NOON. The symposium will educate and give you information on cultural exchange, cultural awareness and business practices of international businesses here in Madison County and throughout the world. Madison County is a growing global location for international industry and business. Educating the current workforce and community on the practices and cultural customs of those international companies relocating to our area. Currently Madison County has 8 countries represented: Japan, Israel, Canada, Switzerland, China, Germany, Italy and Thailand. There are 17 international companies in our county, with more all the time.
THE SESSION WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:
Around The World Table Topics: attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a facilitated discussion with multiple experts in country specific international industry and business.
International Protocol: a tool for building relationships and removing unnecessary distractions in international business and diplomacy. This dynamic and interactive session will introduce keys to successfully engaging in the global arena.
Global Competency: learn how intercultural communication skills can improve relations between you and your international counterparts and/or colleagues in a diverse workforce.
Space is limited. Registration fee is $25.00 per attendee, which includes breakfast, a certificate of completion, a goody bag and printed materials. (Sponsorships for the symposium are still available. Corporate sponsorship fees are $500 which include the following: two registration passes for the event, inclusion in all press materials and media outreach, inclusion in all print, radio and social media as a sponsor, an on-site table at the event and a public thank-you during the symposium. Your sponsorship will allow more professionals to become educated in international exhange and international business practices.)
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Free parking at the facility is provided.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? If you are unable to attend the event after you register and pay, you may transfer your ticket to another person that is not already registered. There are no refunds available after registration has been paid. (REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO REGISTERED FOR THE NOVEMBER 2016 EVENT WHO CANNOT ATTEND IN MARCH 2017!)
Can I update my registration information? If after registration something has changed, you can transfer the ticket to someone else, or if your information is incorrect, please send an email to one of the organizers, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the refund policy? If you are unable to attend your ticket can be transferred to another person, but there will be no refunds issued. (REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO REGISTERED FOR THE NOVEMBER 2016 EVENT WHO CANNOT ATTEND IN MARCH 2017!)
