WTC Gathering: Flag crafting circleCome join us for a fun and creative afternoon at our Flag Crafting Circle !NO SEWING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to get together with like-minded, climate change sensitive individuals and create beautiful flags. All flags will become part of <a href="https://www.toward2050az.com" title="https://www.toward2050az.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TOWARD 2050</a>, a public engagement artwork, that will culminate in an immersive labyrinth installation at Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona - February through May of 2025.Amazing local Phoenix artist, Ann Morton, who is behind this cool project will join for a bit to inspire us!We'll provide you with a flag and a buffet of materials to choose from , so just bring your creativity and curiosity. Of course, in the spririt of sustainable reuse, you are also welcome to bring any scrap fabric, materials, buttons, etc. to incoproate into your own flag or share with others.Don't miss out on this chance to combine socializing, social action and contributing to public art!
