Honor veterans in 2027 this August by sorting and bundling flags at the Rosemount My Credit Union Branch!

MY CREDIT UNION has been Flags for Fort Snelling's (FFFS) "silent partner" since 2017. What started with leading the effort to raise $350,000 to buy all 200,000 flags used over Memorial Day weekend has evolved into storing all 200,000 flags as well. This has saved FFFS over $15K annually in storage costs.Our goal this month is to work on the nearly 500 storage totes containing 200,000 flags and assess each flag's health and appropriateness, remove the bad and put the good into bundles of 15.Then, 30 bundles of good flags (450 flags total) go back into a storage tote and get placed back into the building until next year's Memorial Day! No heavy lifting required.
