Fixed Abode III: A Variety Show Hosted by Tyler Thompson
Everybody has to live somewhere. A creative and communal response to the global refugee crisis, Fixed Abode is an evening of stories, songs, comedy, art and poetry dedicated to the spirit of welcoming refugees and immigrants to the city of Chicago. Proceeds benefit GirlForward, an organization that creates opportunity for refugee girls in Chicago. Hosted by Tyler Thompson, Fixed Abode III features the usual suspects along with some fresh faces: Praytell, She's Folks, Wild Earp, Hillary Marren, Jacob Mau, Daniel Fager, Sharriese Hamilton, Stephanie Weber, Quentin Rynbrandt, a silent art auction, raffle for premium Hamilton tickets, a chance to win a copy of the Hamilton Anthology signed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and much more! Tickets $30, which includes an open bar brought to you by exclusive beer sponsor Half Acre Beer, and a slice of Bang Bang Pie. Doors open at 7:30pm, show at 8:00pm.
