Fix Your Life

CAVEAT is a downtown venue that puts on kick-ass, smart events. We’re redefining the boundary between intellect and entertainment. When the thirst for knowledge hits, you don’t have to sit at home watching TED Talks or binge-reading Wikipedia: this is a home for people who love learning, playing, and getting tipsy. Come for the oddball programming – stay for the beer, food and curious company.

<p>What’s wrong with your life? Probably something! Fix Your Life is a comedy game show that tests contestants' advice-giving abilities. Submit a question about a problem in your life and watch as a panel of three comedians compete to give you the best advice. Whoever fixes the most lives—as determined by the audience and the host's whims—is the winner. 

August’s show features two real-life comedian couples: Martin Urbano &amp; Kelsey Caine (Comedy Central, Chris Gethard Presents) and Taylor Kay Phillips &amp; Felipe Torres Medina (The New Yorker, Colbert). Hosted by Lizzie Logan (The Onion, Reductress). </p><h3>SHOW INFO</h3><p>Doors 7:00 PM, show 7:30 PM.Tickets $15 in advance, $18 at the door, $5 livestream.</p><p>21+</p><p>No outside food or drink is allowed.</p><h3>Livestream ticket information</h3> <p>If you purchase a livestream ticket, Eventbrite will automatically email you a private YouTube link to the stream on the day of the show. If you have not received the private link by the show start time, please contact us for the link.</p><h3>COVID POLICIES</h3><p>As we re-open we're doing everything we can to keep our audience, performers, and staff safe and are complying with all Covid regulations.</p><p>As part of this, all attendees must present proof of full vaccination to enter. Proof can be via the <a href="https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/excelsior-pass" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">New York State Excelsior pass</a>, a physical copy of the CDC card, a photo of your CDC card, or other electronic record of vaccination includes name and date (e.g., some chain pharmacies have an app with this information). In all cases the name must match that on your photo ID.</p><p>Our full Covid policies can be found <a href="https://caveat.nyc/covidpolicy" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.</p><h3>REFUND POLICY</h3><p>Tickets may be refunded up to 24 hours before the event. Within 24 hours we may take exchanges for other events at our discretion. No refunds after the event.</p><p></p>
