Described as “classical turned loose in the toy store,” “top-flight,” and “imaginative,” fivebyfive is an award-winning, artist-led ensemble known for its impeccable musicianship and adventurous spirit that permeates innovative, cross-genre programming and community engagement. The group consists of Laura Lentz, flute and artistic director; Marcy Bacon, clarinet; Ken Luk, electric guitar; Eric J. Polenik, bass; Haeyeun Jeun, piano; and Marc Webster, audio/video artist, and executive director.

Joining fivebyfive are UR faculty choreographers Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Ripp Greatbatch, Missy Pfohl Smith, and Mariah Steele, along with digital media artist W. Michelle Harris (RIT), creating new works with commissioned composers Sean William Calhoun, Steve Danyew, Amy Nam, and Felipe Perez Santiago.

Saturday, Oct. 18, 7:00pm Show with a pre-performance talk beginning at 6:30pm.

Sunday, October. 19, 3:00pm Show with a pre-performance talk beginning at 2:30pm.

Tickets are Free for UR students with ID, $20 General Admission, $40 family max, or Pay What You Can (at the door).
