Five Points 50/25 Course Preview

Join us for an eight-mile group mountain bike ride and preview sections of the Five Points 50/25 race course at the Core Preserve property!

Get ready to dial in your lines and explore Lookout Mountain with SORBA Chattanooga and Lula Lake Land Trust during our Five Points 50/25 Course Preview Ride series leading up to the Oct. 24th race.

Whether you're racing or just want to ride with a great crew, these are for you. Can’t make this one? More group rides are coming, each highlighting different sections of the course so you can get comfortable before race day.

About the ride: This ride covers 8 miles with about 500 feet of elevation gain. The course will be marked, so you can ride ahead or stick with the group.

We’ll be on Lula Lake’s Core Preserve trails—mostly singletrack with a mix of climbs, descents, rock gardens, and smooth flow. The pace is social, but the terrain is challenging. No one will be left behind.

Date: May 21st, 2026

Meeting Time: Please arrive by 5:30 pm ET at Lula Lake Land Trust (5000 Lula Lake Rd., Lookout Mountain, GA 30750). The gate opens at 5:00 pm and closes at 5:50 pm. The ride begins promptly at 6:00 pm, and entry will not be allowed after that time.

Important Details

• This ride may be canceled in the event of heavy rain.
• Bring: Your own mountain bike, helmet, plenty of water and snacks.
• This is private property and we have permission to visit on this evening only. Everyone must leave at the same time after the ride is over.
• Please note: In the warmer months we do see quite a bit of yellowjackets on the property, so if you are allergic, please carry your own EpiPen as we do not carry them on site.
