No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Qigong is an ancient healing practice from China.  For thousands of years, the practice of qigong was a closely-guarded secret revealed only to a chosen few.  Even today, traditional Qigong techniques can require years of rigid, disciplined practice to develop proficiency.
The Five Element Qigong Healing Movements combines the wisdom of the 5000-year-old Yellow Emperor's medical manuscript with Master Lin's Modern-day healing experiences.  These revolutionary new Qigong techniques merge breathing, gentle movements, emotions, sounds, and visualization to help you heal yourself and others on multiple dimensions. Most importantly, they are easy to learn and can be done anywhere with no equipment.
Medical studies have shown that Qigong can help mitigate many health conditions, including but not limited to:

Spring Forest Qigong can help you increase your energy, physical health, and mental health. Master Chunyi Lin says,"Qigong is such a powerful tool for healing, the whole world needs to know about it and benefit from it."
To borrow a phrase from Master Chunyi Lin, Christopher McLaren was born a healer. He has practiced Spring Forest Qigong for many years with a more intense personal practice since 2012 when he also began teaching. He has continued to receive training and teaching from Master Lin and is currently working toward his Master Healer certification with Spring Forest Qigong. He is also the founder/CEO of Conscious Life Planning where he practices integrative financial and life planning. Chris has over 25 years experience facilitating various size groups around a multitude of topics.
