We are beyond excited to be partnering with the Indianapolis Cultural Trail this outdoor walk season!

Join us downtown every first Wednesday* evening, April through October, for the Hot Walk Indy x Indianapolis Cultural Trail series.

Fuel up before our walk with a boba or coffee from Good Vibes Cafe Bar, just 2 short blocks from our meetup location. Our crew gets a 10% discount on walk days!

5:30-6PM: Join us at Lugar Plaza for a casual meet & greet

6-7PM: we'll go on an adventurous walk through the vibrant heart of Indianapolis, while making new friends and memories together.

*May 1 Details: We're excited to be partnering with BeeFree and Five Iron Golf. The first 50 attendees will receive a FREE 3 oz. Warrior Snack Mix. After our walk, we're meeting up for a social at the brand new Five Iron Golf (421 N. Pennsylvania) where attendees can practice their golf swing for free on their golf simulators; each person will cover their own expenses for food and drink.

All ages and walk levels are welcome to join our inclusive community walks. Walk is both stroller and dog-friendly. Participation is FREE and open to all, but registration is required.

Should we cancel for weather, we’ll re-schedule for the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Follow @hotwalkindy to stay up-to-date!

Parking Information/Directions: The best address to navigate to Lugar Plaza is 200 E. Washington Street (City-County Building). Nearby street parking is available on Washington St., Alabama St., Delaware Dt. and Market St. It's is paid Monday- Saturday, and FREE on Sundays and holidays. Please see Park Indy for ADA street parking locations and more information.

Bike parking is available in Lugar Plaza and the Julia M. Carson Transit Center is conveniently located across the street.

Where does the event start?

Meet us outside on the Richard Lugar Plaza, 200 E. Washington St., across the street from the Julia M. Carson Transit Center.

Can I come alone?

Of course! We foster a welcoming environment by ensuring a Walk Lead greets and makes name tags for each person, which we'll write in your neighborhood to help break the ice. First-timers get a "1" on their tags which helps you quickly identify who else is new! We typically have several newcomers.

What if I am running late, get lost or it's raining?

Rain makeup date is third Wednesday of the month. Check our social accounts for updates about inclement weather. Send us a message on Instagram, Facebook or our GroupMe chat. These links can be found at hotwalkindy.com.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome on the walk! Just note, if we do a social activity afterwards at a bar or restaurant -- they may or may not be able to join us, depending on if we sit inside or out.

Who typically shows up to walks?

Hot Walk Indy is geared for the Girls, Gays and Theys. ALL are welcome! And we get a lot of newcomers, too! Come join us :)
