About this event

Come see Central Pennsylvania pianist Andy Roberts, who has hosted the First Thursday Jazz series at the Allen Theatre for over 25 years!

Andy will be bringing along saxophonist and composer Jonathan Ragonese (Director of Jazz Studies at West Chester University), bassist, composer, and educator Peter Paulsen, as well as drummer and educator Larry Marshall.

The group will play adventurous “in the moment” arrangements of jazz standards as well as original music for a truly wonderful experience in a theatrical setting.

All ages welcome but for BYOB patrons (ages 21+)

The Allen Theatre

The Allen Theatre is located in the college town of Annville Pennsylvania, just 15 minutes east of Hershey Park. A historic landmark dating back to the early 1900's, the Allen exhibits both movies and live events in a wondrously renovated space, bringing classic cinema ambiance to the audience. Adjacent to the theatre is Salamander Bookshop Cafe which, along with typical concessions, ice cream and coffee, stocks a wide variety of carefully selected used books, records and CDs.
