First Step Pistol Orientation

Join us for the First Step Pistol Orientation at the APHF Shooting Center! This in-person event is perfect for anyone interested in learning the basics of pistol shooting. Whether you're a complete beginner or just need a refresher, our experienced instructors will guide you through everything you need to know to take your first steps in pistol shooting.

During this orientation, you'll learn about pistol safety, proper grip and stance, aiming techniques, and more. Our friendly instructors will provide hands-on training and answer any questions you may have. You'll also have the opportunity to practice your skills on our state-of-the-art shooting range.

Michael Richards has been an avid shooter for over 50 years. He is an ordained minister and was a police chaplain for many years. He has had experience in pistols, revolvers and rifles. He is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and a Range Safety Officer. He loves to teach both in the classroom as well as on the range. He enjoys talking to the people at the range and helping them improve their skills.
