Niche drawing sessions on the first Saturday of the month this spring and summer.
Join Niche Artist in Residence Erin Dengerink for two hours of art-making on the first Saturday of the month. Bring your favorite drawing materials. There will also be art supplies and paper available to share. There will be light instruction, technique demonstration, feedback, relaxation, comradery, community, and joy.
Classes are $25 each, $65 if you sign up for a set of three, and $120 for all six.
April 6th and September 7th, 4-6 pm Still Life Drawing
May 4th, and October 5th 4-6 pm Life Drawing with a clothed model
June 1st, and August 3rd, 4-6 pm Plein Air
Artist Erin Dengerink has been teaching drawing for the past 15 years. Dengerink considers drawing to be the most fascinating art practice. It is a simple, accessible art form. All you need is something to draw with and something to draw on. Drawing from observation requires us to practice having our eyes and minds work in collaboration to create images from the heart.
