First Room Sessions begins with the simple idea that house music works differently when the room is small enough to feel it together.

Night 1 brings First Room Sessions to Lulu’s for an intimate evening of deep, classic, soulful and underground breaks and house music, selected for people who actually want to listen, dance, and stay awhile.

This isn’t a festival-style EDM night. There’s no giant stage separating the DJs from the room and no need to wait for the next enormous drop. Expect long blends, proper grooves, familiar records beside things you’ve never heard, and a room allowed to develop naturally over the course of the night.

Whether you remember when house music first found its way into small clubs or you’re discovering that experience for the first time, you’re welcome here.
