About this event

This is a free class for first responders (police, fire, EMS, dispatch) led by Molly Young, MSP trooper and yoga teacher. It is a beginner-friendly class with no experience or flexibility required. Class is grounded (meaning both feet remain on the ground -- no difficult balancing postures) and slow. There is a heavy focus on down-regulating the nervous system by controlling the breath (similar to tactical breathing). The physical postures are geared toward tight hips, necks, and shoulders. The room will not be heated (or cooled). Bring a mat and a friend and prepare to stretch it out and find some mental strength and relaxation. This class will be held at Legacy Jiujitsu 517. Message Molly with any questions at 989-397-6917.
