What Students Learn

First Lego League: Explore Camp is a weeklong experience to learn more about a variety of robots and practices. This camp is designed for students who enjoy building and programming Legos as well as those who have little or no experience with robots. is more exploratory than our individual classes as students are given more space to ask questions and try new things. During the week students will explore different robots and have the opportunity to build and program with Legos.

What Parents Gain

We all want our kids to find their passion or engage in activities that stimulate their love of learning. Parents will see their children learn problem solving techniques, a drive to try something new and gain knowledge about coding and technology that can assist them in the future. Students will also be challenged and encouraged to try new things.

Schedule

We'll meet each day from 6:00-7:30 pm throughout the week of June 17th- 21st.

Each day will be focused on a specific robot and coding skill.

Mission Statement

To teach coding and computer science to children, K-12, and introduce them to new ways to problem solve and explore curiosity and creativity.

What We Do

We are creating a generation of problem solvers and innovators through coding and computer science principles.

The Approach

  • Embrace mistakes: Evidence suggests during initial learning students retain more information if they’re given the freedom to make mistakes. Encourage them to learn and grow in confidence through mistakes as they seek an answer.
  • Enjoy learning: Learning and problem solving can be fun through creative activities like coding and game design.
  • Explore computer science: Computer science is a powerful medium in which students can express themselves to solve challenges in unique ways to enhance their creativity and problem.
