This adaptation weaves Austen’s beloved story with personal reflections from people recalling their first encounters with the novel or its many film adaptations.Two hundred fifty years after Jane Austen’s birth, her work—and this story in particular—continues to connect us. The “first impressions” shared in this production were crowd-sourced from SATE’s original 2017 production, the 2019 production at WERDCC, and artists involved in this staging.We’re excited to welcome you for a night of story, connection, and creativity.
