Join Theatreworks for a performance of Shakespeare's 2 Gents! This is a fun and FREE 65-minute-long performance for all ages.
Creating opportunities for our dynamic and diverse communities of the Pikes Peak region to gather together in joy is at the heart of Theatreworks' mission and our ACT OUT program (formerly called Free-For-All) which has been traveling since Comedy of Errors in 2019.
What's the story of 2Gents, you ask? Two upstart gents, two go-getter ladies, two Italian cities that won't know what hit them, and one crazy summer road trip tangled with hijinks, love, friendship, and yes, even a disguise or two. Join Theatreworks for a fast paced, energetic staging of one of Shakespeare's overlooked comedic masterpieces!
Join us for a joyful, mobile production at libraries, schools, community centers, parks, and senior centers all throughout the Pikes Peak region. Public performances of ACT OUT are always free to audiences, from the oldest to the youngest, and everyone in between. We bring the actors, the costumes, the story, and the Shakespeare. All we're missing is you!
