The League’s First Friday events are informal social gatherings that allow members to visit the offices of leading design practices and see work on the boards.

Thornton Tomasetti is a practice of engineers, scientists, architects, and other professionals with a global network of over 1,500 people. Founded as Lev Zetlin Associates in 1956 and following a 2015 merger with Weidlinger Associates, the firm maintains offices in more than 50 countries across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Thornton Tomasetti partners with clients to optimize the design and performance of structures, materials, and systems in areas that include decarbonization, sustainability, and resilience; transportation and infrastructure; energy and industry; and forensic investigation and analysis.
