"The first 90 days of any career transition - whether a promotion, new job or a lateral transfer - are crucial and can determine if you succeed or fail in the new role." - First 90 Days, Michael Watkins.The CCWP welcomes Dasle Kim, Employee Advocacy Manager at Sprinklr, Janet Lyden, Talent Management at Boston Consulting Group, and Sam Wang, Relationship Manager at HSBC, to a panel discussion moderated by our Associate Director of Career Coaching, Julia Macleod. Learn from Stern Alumni as they share their experiences and discuss their own successes and challenges when entering a new position.The panel will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17th 2019 beginning at 5:30pm with refreshments served beginning at 5:00PM.Meet the panelists!Dasle KimDasle Kim (‘18) is the Employee Advocacy Manager at Sprinklr, amplifying Sprinklr’s brand on social media channels using its own platform. She has 9+ years of experience across tech, media, nonprofit, and education industries specializing in internal communications, talent and leadership development, and corporate social responsibility. Dasle is passionate about building culture and communities and engaging employees in corporate volunteering and giving -- including a $2.5M award-winning global partnership with Kiva, the world’s first microlending platform. Dasle holds a BBA in Marketing from Emory University, and an MBA from NYU Stern in Digital Marketing and Leadership and Change Management. Outside of work, Dasle enjoys volunteering, traveling, photography, reading, writing Yelp reviews, and exploring new places in New York City.Janet LydenJanet M. Lyden has over ten years of experience across higher education, professional services, and financial services industries. Throughout her career, she has focused on relationship management, project management, coaching, team-building, and problem-solving. Janet is passionate about helping individuals and organizations create the best versions of themselves through small wins and continuous improvement. Janet recently joined the Talent Management Team at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where she partners with the Consultant cohort to help them navigate their career journeys. Janet holds a M.S. in Human Resource Management &amp; Development from NYU with a concentration in Organizational Effectiveness &amp; Leadership. She received her B.A. from Hartwick College, where she played Division III soccer. On weekends, Janet can typically be found on the water, snowboarding, or challenging someone to a fierce game of foosball.Sam WangSam Wang is the relationship manager at HSBC's international corporate solutions team, where he advises corporate banking clients on their overseas expansion. Sam started his career at HSBC in capital markets, where he worked in both North America and Latin America on structured products origination and valuation. Then he moved to the bank's commercial banking business and have worked across the US and Asia Pacific on both structured banking and transaction banking strategy and business development. Sam holds Bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Master Degree from NYU Stern School of Business.We hope to see you there!
