Karen Hillman is a mixed media artist and award-winning photographer. She describes her work as “Vintage Finery” as her art pieces encompass using forgotten items from eras of the past, and reinventing them into extraordinary treasures. Her style is romantic and ethereal and some of her favorite works are her angels, fairies, and one-of-a-kind religious pieces. Karen’s art studio is located within her charming storybook home located in Frederick, Maryland. Fondly called, “The Cozy Castle”,  she hosts her unique classes and retreats at The Cozy Castle, around the country and abroad.

<p>Join me by the outdoor fireplace as we enjoy the beautiful sounds of George Winston&#x27;s &quot;Autumn&quot; album while you design and create your own beautiful Fall wreath.  I have chosen beautiful materials featuring the softest colors of Fall along with a lovely tassel.  We will also enjoy hot spiced cider and caramel apple cake, and all will go home with some crisp farmers&#x27; market apples to create your own Fall dessert!</p>
