<h2>Firefly Watch</h2>Join us for a magical evening of Firefly watching on Sat Jul 08 2023 at 7:00 PM The event will be held at St Xavier Nature Preserve, 106 St. Xavier Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.Learn about Firefly life cycles and how to protect their habitats. Be a Citizen Scientist! Identify our Pennsylvania native species and make fabulous firefly art. Play firefly-themed games, take an evening nature hike, and enjoy a magical evening under the stars.

Event InformationParking is limited to 25 cars. When registering, a car is considered a “group.” Each group will receive one Firefly Goodie Bag at check-in. The event is free, but your donation is welcome to support our work at Donate for Good:https://www.networkforgood.org/donation/MakeDonation.aspx?ORGID2=770710733 . Firefly Watch is a family-fun outdoor event. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes that are suitable to taking a short hike or playing outdoor games. You may want to bring a blanket and/or lawn chair and a flashlight. Each group will receive two red light (dark skies) keyring flashlights and a bug-catcher container.
