Come out to the beautiful Clark Nature Preserve to enjoy the mystical light show that fireflies create! We'll learn about their life cycle, how to identify species by their light pattern, and the science behind their illuminated butts. We'll also learn about the threats to fireflies and what steps you can take to ensure their survival.

What to Expect: This event is open to ages 10 & up (anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult). This event will include a short, easy hike.There is a port-a-john available onsite.

What to Bring: Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Bring a headlamp if you have one available. Bring any snacks or drinks you may wish to have.

Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.

Cancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event, attendees will be emailed and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date. If the Conservancy cancels the event, attendees will be notified via email when possible and refunded.
