About this event

High Bridge Trail State Park Firefly Festival 2024

Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night.

The only entrance for this event is at 1466 Camp Paradise Rd. Rice VA 23966. The parking fee is included with your ticket price.

Tickets: Required for entry. Sold in advance only. No tickets available at the gate.

This event is rain or shine. No refunds.

Attendance is limited to 850 participants each night.

Visiting High Bridge at night in the summer is a rare treat, as this is a day use park. During this annual festival, you'll witness thousands of fireflies lighting up the night.

Handicapped parking is available upon request. Please let the parking attendant know when you arrive.

Tickets

Each person must have a valid ticket to gain entry. No tickets will be sold at the gate or by phone. All tickets must be purchased via EventBrite.

Chairs/ Wheelchairs/ Strollers

Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. If you bring a chair for firefly viewing, please do not block the path of pedestrian traffic.

Pets

No pets allowed at this event.

Cancellations/ Refunds

No refunds. Your ticket cannot be changed to an alternate night.

Parking

Parking is located at 1466 Camp Paradise Road, Rice, VA 23966. All other entrances to High Bridge will be closed during this event.

Outside food and drinks are allowed. NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED.

Food and Souvenirs

Food trucks will be available for you to purchase amazing local fare. One of a kind firefly souvenirs will be available for purchase.

Photography and Flashlights

No flash photography or flashlights allowed (red lights, glow sticks are ok).
