Fire Resiliency Learning Circle - Takilma
Join Magic Forest Farm and East Fork Farm in Takilma for a learning circle focused on building resilience to wildfires!
Welcome to the Takilma Fire Resiliency Learning Circle!
Join hosts Carol McBride (Magic Forest Farm) and Aaron Howard (East Fork Farm) for a day of learning, sharing, and inspiration in the spirit of building fire resilient rural communities.
We'll tour a prescribed burn site, share wildfire stories, and learn how live safely with fire in the communities we love. Wildfire isn’t going away, but we can be ready and resilient in the face of it.
Bring a water bottle, sun protection, and wear shoes and clothing appropriate to being outside and walking on uneven surfaces.
Lunch generously provided by Magic Forest Farm. Programming funded by Southern Oregon Climate Action Network (SOCAN) in partnership with Oregon State University Extension, SOREC.
Event address and directions provided upon registration. For more information or to inquire about accommodations, please email Diane Choplin at diane.choplin@oregonstate.edu
