Join us for Fire OPS 101 and experience a day in the life of a fire fighter!

Y﻿ou are invited to Fire OPS 101! Join our elected representatives, leaders from our communities, and media members from across Wisconsin and experience a day in the life of a fire fighter!Y﻿ou will dress in turnout gear and will participate in realistic scenarios that we face on a day-to-day basis. The scenarios will include fire attack, search and rescue, vehicle extrication, and emergency medical services. T﻿he experience is challenging, eye-opening and rewarding! T﻿he day will begin with registration between 7am and 8am, with the scenarios beginning shortly after. After the scenarios we will debrief over lunch, with dismissal at 2pm. P﻿lease reserve a spot by registering. During the registration, we will ask for your sizing details so that we can prepare your turnout gear in advance. More details will be sent to you at a later date. W﻿e will also have a reception on May 23rd, the evening before the event, to meet your fellow participants and instructors at Coopers Tavern on the Capitol Square, at 6pm.I﻿f planning to travel to Madison, we do have a room block at the Concourse Hotel, just ask for PFFW Fire OPS when making your reservation.A﻿ny questions please contact Pete Friedericks - pfriedericks@gmail.com - 608-449-5969
