On Wednesday, May 8 we will be hosting a dual film screening at the OK Theater. This free event will show the documentary "The West is Burning," which explores the history of natural resource management, current forest conditions and wildfire activity in the western U.S. This will be followed by the release of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors: A Lostine Firewise Film," a short documentary sharing the motivations and efforts of the Lostine Firewise Community facing the threat of wildfire during the 2022 summer season. A panel discussion will follow. Pizza and beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
