Mike Dohan

FINTech can refer to many of the technologies that are currently disrupting banking, investing, fundraising, insurance and many other activities in the finance sector.
This event will present a few ways in which technology is changing the field, and cast light on future developments and challenges. 
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Registration and Networking 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Guest speakers to present their specialized talk. 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Round table discussion, question and answer period using a moderator/panel format

Paul is the Vice President of Partner Services for WayPay, whose mission is to make business payments simple and cost effective. Paul has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and lending, and is charged with developing, fostering and supporting WayPay’s strategic alliances. 
Seyon Vasantharajan Co-Founder and CTO Viviplan (<A HREF="https://www.viviplan.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Viviplan" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.viviplan.com/</A>) 
Seyon is a Financial Engineering Graduate from the University of Toronto. He is the CTO and Co-Founder of Viviplan, an automated financial and investment advisor platform that aims to deliver affordable, high-quality and trustworthy financial planning to Canadians.
Jonathan Tavone Senior Advisor Ministry of Economic Development and Growth
Jonathan is a Senior Advisor with the Advanced Technologies Unit, in the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Growth/ Research Innovation and Science. He has completed projects for the MaRS Center for Impact Investing, Israeli Innovation Authority, and the Innovation Policy Lab at the University of Toronto. Jonathan received a Master of Global Affairs from the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto and his undergraduate degree from York University.
This event is open to community members and includes hot and cold appetizers.
