Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

You don't NEED to bring anything. However, attendees in the past have brought their laptop, tablet, notebook, favorite pen, highlighter, sticky notes, fidgets, and snacks, to name a few.

Is this an interactive workshop?

Oh yes--this is a hands-on environment. You will have a workbook to complete different exercises to apply what you're learning. But you also have opportunities to ask questions for clarification, examples within your market, or help with one of the exercises throughout the workshop.

Where is the Small Business Center located?

From the O Street Entrance to UBT, the Small Business Center is the room with Glass Walls to your left behind the security desk. ( So, technically, down the hallway to your left, first door on the right.) If you are entering from the Garage it's at the opposite end from Stories Coffee.

Is there food onsite?

Food and Beverages can be purchased at Stories Coffee within the UBT building. (Opposite end of the building from the Small Business Center.) You are welcome to grab something to eat and drink and bring it to the workshop.
