The Purpose & Topics

These events are to help you with personal finance questions. There is no set format - you all have different questions, no set format means we can adapt to those questions. The topics are wide ranging - from banking, debt, mortgages, investments, ISA's, pensions, retirement, insurance, family financial planning, later life planning, care, estate planning, etc. If you question(s) fall into these categories feel free to attend and ask. These can be done anonymously - so do not feel like you have to make a commitment. Discussion is encouraged.

Host

Andrew is a qualified UK financial adviser, running his own firm since 2017, where he gives regulated financial advice and helps coach his clients toward their goals. Before that he worked in banks & building societies since 2009, and before that he studied Economics & Finance at university. He is well placed to help answer questions on personal finance, no matter how important you feel the question is, it's important you ask.

Why?

According to the latest research, financial pressures are the greatest contributor to anxiety and stress in adults. These questions are often poorly taught, if at all, whilst in education, and it can be difficult to ask friends and family for help or guidance as the topic can require giving more detail that you may wish to discuss with them.

Cost

£0. Andrew cannot give you financial advice, as this must be paid for. However, he can help guide you and give general information, as he does for his friends and family, regularly.

The point of these webinars is to use what he has learned over the last 14 years of study and experience to help raise the general knowledge of finance. If you have attended these meetings before you will know that you are welcome to attend regularly or as a one off.
