The Oil Machine, explores sustainability themes such as climate action, responsible consumption, equity and justice through a unique lens. It discusses the United Kingdom's economic, historical and emotional entanglement with North Sea Oil, and highlights how deeply oil is embedded in society, from high finance to cheap consumer goods. A dialogue with producer Sonja Henrici will follow the screening. Tasty treats will be served following the event.
