Join us for a special screening of Mark Jay's classic piece of diasporic oral history, East Endings. The film documents a night at Bloom’s in 1993 – then one of the last remaining kosher restaurants in Whitechapel. Renowned Cartoonist Harry Blacker arrives to celebrate his 83rd birthday with old friends as they spend the evening together reminiscing about the Jewish East End of the 1930s. The screening will be followed by a short discussion with the filmaker, Mark Jay.

This film will be screened in Oxford House's atmospheric Victorian chapel.
